Emily Hansen Curran

Emily (she/her) joined the team at All Souls in the fall of 2015. Originally from Modesto and the non-denominational, Evangelical church world, Emily and her wife, Megan, have put down roots in Richmond. She studied theology, ministry and poetry at Fuller Theological Seminary, the Graduate Theological Union, and Yale Divinity School, and also brings the knowledge of what it takes to make a feast happen from time spent working in the restaurant industry in San Francisco. Emily’s work focuses on welcoming newcomers and connecting new members into the community, facilitating the health of our many ministry teams, supporting parish life, and leading the Catechumenate. In the fall of 2021 she helped launch the Sunday Night Service, a worship service connecting the Episcopal tradition with the Evangelical ethos.
