All Souls Parish is a congregation of the Diocese of California, the Episcopal Church, and the world-wide Anglican Communion. We are part of a tradition with deep roots in the Christian faith, one that stretches back to the first generation of followers of Christ and that unites us with Anglican communities across the globe. 

Our tradition offers us many gifts: ancient beliefs and practices, a passion for justice, a reverence for inquiry, and a love of beauty. These gifts also ask us to wrestle with our shortcomings as people and as a tradition, including the institutional legacies of colonialism, slavery, and patriarchy. At our best, we lean into both the friction and possibility offered by taking accountability for our sins and working towards building new life and true communion in the Spirit.
