NEW FOR Spring
Anam Cara (Soul Friend) Group
Anam Cara: A Book of Celtic Wisdom is a book of reflection on the meaning of spiritual friendship over the span of life. Written by a poet, John O’Donohue, it uses simile, aphorism, image, and metaphor – the very meat of poetry – to evoke the riches offered to us by Celtic spirituality. It is a legacy of strong connection to nature, deep respect for ritual, a sense of the circularity of time, and great appreciation for age and aging. Anam Cara (meaning Soul Friends), designed for meditation and contemplation, will be read by all group members and serve as the basis of our group exploration and sharing.
Time: 12:00 - 1:30 pm (with brown bag lunch)
Dates: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, February 12 - May 28

CONTINUING GROUPS IN THE SPRING
Music for the Soul
Each meeting will start with a check-in, giving members time to get to know each other. We then explore the hymn of the week, using hymns of the season. Questions guide our reflections, and periods of silence leave room for the Spirit to guide us. There will be opportunities to share favorite hymns as well.

Listening Through Scripture
Join with us as part of a small group who read, listen, and apply God’s Word and uphold one another in prayer. As we gather, we’ll shake off our concerns of the day, open the Gospel, read and discuss it, and pray together. Please bring your favorite Bible translation and a notebook for personal reflection.
Time: 4:00 – 5:30 pm

Companions in Transitions Small Group
This group provides a place and time to share whatever transitions we are experiencing, e.g. employment change, marriage to singleness, household changes, etc. We will listen to one another, listen for what God is saying to each of us, read and reflect on scripture, and also pray together.
